The Beauty of the Web…and new tools

This is what is so great about the web….I see Jodi’s twitter about edmodo. I go to edmodo and look around to learn more about their product (like a private twitter to be used specifically in educational settings). I find this blog by a teacher, José Picardo interested in using technology in the classroom (note his interview with students about their opinion on edmodo). From there I start looking at his other posts and blam….Glogster. This is such a great tool. How perfect that Jose’s entry is about teaching Spanish. I love it! Our small group (Policy and Planning class) had talked about making an interactive visual for the Personal Learning Network presentation but decided on a wiki instead. I wonder if we had known about this if it could have been used as an alternate presentation vehicle with eCollege for discussion. Hmmmm…
