About

I began this blog, as part of my graduate studies in Information & Learning Technologies. Originally, the blog provided a place for reflection and responses to course discussions and readings. As I progressed in the program, I grew to see the value of collecting a larger body of thoughts, practice and resources.

The technologies of today (and tomorrow) offer us new tools for interacting and communicating. While the tools may change over time, many of the best practices for creating effective learning environments remain constant. The best learning environments keep the learner’s needs at the center of the design process and implementation. Relevant and authentic learning activities, in alignment with learning objectives provide people the opportunity to make meaningful connections.

It is my hope that you will find benefit in the musings.  Your insights welcomed.
